Hi Everyone, I am back with a travel post!
If you’ve been following me on Instagram, Facebook or Snapchat, you might already know that I was on an adventure trip to North East side of India for a couple of days and had the most wonderful experience.
We started our journey from New Delhi and reached New Jalpaigudi Railway Station, West Bengal. It was a really hectic journey of 24 hrs but it was worth in the end. The journey ahead towards Mane Bhanjang which is the gateway of Sandakphu – Phalut trekking route was about 80 km from the station. We hired a taxi and I must say taxi services were amazing. The way from the station to Mane bhanjang was breathtaking and I fell in love with it from the very beginning.
As we reached Mane bhajang, we got to know that we can not go up till Sandakphu because of extreme monsoon. It was disappointing as we really wanted to visit the highest point of Singalila range, i.e. Sandakphu. But then we decided to keep up the zeal and trek to Tumling.
After a very homely overnight stay in a hotel we started our trekking towards Tumbling early morning. From the start only, it was a very steep trek. We all tried to trek through forest twice but we were caught by leeches and other bugs, so we decided to trek through the road. We passed through Chitre Monastery and it was beautiful. We took two three tea halts in between, people were so welcoming and happy even when they all were living a very tough life.
We finally reached Tumling at around 5 in the evening and the view was heavenly, that made all of us speechless. I had the most amazing view captured and I just can’t explain how precious it was to me. Cloud bed, sunset and clear blue sky.
We stayed overnight in a trekker’s hut at Tumling. The hospitality and the food was too good. We woke up early in the morning and had the most picturesque view ever. After all the odds and bad weather, we had the chance to view Kangchenjunga; the third largest mountain in the world. We stayed at Tumling for an hour or something, had our breakfast and started trekking back towards Mane Bhanjang via tonglu.
This trek offered us some spectacular views and had enough to explore & discover along the way. (Have a look at all the pictures down below)
Being a nature lover, I was crazy throughout this trip thou we couldn’t go up till Sandakphu but that doesn’t disappoint me. I will be going up there soon.
P.S. The area is No network zone. You are off from the world throughout the trip.
Hope you guys enjoyed the post. Do plan a trip to Sandakphu and make sure you keep it clean. #CleanIndia #IncredibleIndia
Until next post. Share it and spread love.

how do you travel with so much weigh(luggage)…I mean is it comfortable trekking with so much luggage on your shoulders?
